Yes We Can! programs include six-weekly lessons, designed to help riders gain essential skills and dispositions such as persistence, confidence, increase self-esteem, and gain a sense of achievement. During our lessons, communication skills they can use in school and beyond. We work with multiple schools in Rutland, Windsor and Bennington Counties. If your school would like to partner, please let us know!
To select riders, the school or externally based treatment teams select participants who will benefit from support of their life challenges. We strive to provide transportation assistance from all schools as we recognize that transportation is often a barrier to access.
Many of our riders come from the section of our population that can least afford our services but are most in need of them, so we are always seeking funding that will allow attendance of riders at no cost to participants. If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact us and ask how you can support your local schools!
